Founded and led by an owner with decades of hands-on industry experience, our team provides high-quality materials, expert craftsmanship, and professional installation services. With over 50 years of combined experience, we focus on delivering durable, well-crafted results for homes and businesses throughout the San Antonio area.
Our Story
CounterSource was founded by an owner whose experience in the stone industry began in 1995, working alongside family in Chicago, Illinois. From an early age, he was involved in every part of the trade — fabrication, installation, and shop operations — learning the business from the ground up.
By the age of 18, that experience led to managing a fabrication shop, overseeing production, quality control, and daily operations. At 19, he opened his first countertop business in Naperville, Illinois, serving homeowners and contractors throughout the area. That business was successfully sold several years later, leading to a move to Texas to continue building on that foundation.
Today, CounterSource operates with a skilled team whose combined experience exceeds 50 years. Together, we provide quartz, granite, and quartzite countertops, along with LVT and engineered wood flooring solutions for residential and light commercial projects. Our approach remains the same as it was from the beginning — precision craftsmanship, attention to detail, and treating every project as if it were our own.
